Spray Coating Machine: Precise Boost and Efficient Spraying

Spray Coating Machine's Working Process

The core working unit of a spray coating machine is a dual-action pneumatic hydraulic booster pump, which ingeniously combines pneumatic and hydraulic technologies. This pump uses a special pilot-operated full-air control distribution reversing mechanism to achieve precise reversing. When compressed air is introduced into the system, it drives the piston to move up and down reciprocally within the cylinder. During this process, the change in the piston's position triggers the pilot valve (either upper or lower), instantly adjusting the airflow path, driving the distribution reversing device to switch quickly, ensuring the piston within the pneumatic motor achieves smooth and continuous bi-directional motion.

What Are the Advantages of the Spray Coating Machine?

Excellent film quality, with a smooth and fine coating, free of brush marks.

  • High coating efficiency.

  • Strong adhesion and long-lasting coating life. It uses high-pressure injection, giving the atomized paint particles strong kinetic energy. The kinetic energy allows the paint particles to reach into pores, making the film denser, thereby enhancing the mechanical interlocking between the film and the wall, increasing adhesion and effectively extending the life of the coating.

  • Uniform film thickness and high paint utilization rate. Manual brushing and rolling result in extremely uneven thickness and low paint utilization rate, while airless spraying easily achieves uniform coating.

  • Easily reaches corners and crevices. Due to the adoption of high-pressure airless spray, the paint spray does not contain air, making it easy to reach corners, gaps, and uneven areas that are difficult to brush, especially suitable for ceilings in office buildings with many air-conditioning and fire protection ducts, where rolling brushes find difficult to work.

  • Capable of spraying high-viscosity paints, whereas hand brushes and air spraying methods are only suitable for low-viscosity paints.

As the economy develops and people's perspectives change, it has become fashionable in domestic markets to use medium to high-grade interior and exterior wall paints instead of mosaics and tiles to decorate walls. Water-based latex paint, due to its non-toxic, easy-to-clean, rich colors, and lack of environmental pollution, has become the most popular interior and exterior wall decoration material. However, latex paint is a high-viscosity water-based paint. During construction, manufacturers usually impose strict dilution limits on the original paint, generally between 10%-30% (except for specially formulated paints that can be diluted more without affecting performance, as indicated in the product manual).

Over-dilution can lead to poor film formation, with its texture and resistance to scrubbing and durability being compromised to varying degrees. The degree of damage is proportional to the dilution rate; the higher the dilution, the poorer the film quality. If one strictly follows the manufacturer's dilution requirements, latex paint would have very high viscosity, making it difficult to apply. If rolling, brushing, or air spraying methods are used, the film effect is often unsatisfactory. The most popular method abroad is to use high-pressure airless spray coating machine for construction. Spray Coating Machine's Maintenance Methods

Maintenance of the spray booth

If the air supply system of the spray booth is clogged or too dusty, it needs to replace the air filter cotton. Every three days or so, open the back of the spray booth to clean the oil filter system. It is also necessary to clean the oil stains on the conveyor chain from time to time and add grease.

Maintenance of the oil supply system

When the spray coating machine is used and needs to be stopped, open the paint return valve to allow all the paint to flow back into the ink tank. Then take out the ink tank and pour a cleaning solvent into the mixing bucket, activate the oil pump, and open the return valve and spray gun to the maximum to let the cleaning solvent circulate in the oil pipe and clean the spray gun and oil pump. Because the pump and spray gun are highly precise, do not disassemble them randomly during cleaning to avoid damage.

Check

After one week of operation or 50 hours, check the slurry combined machine pump body, cylinder, piston seal, the tension of the transmission belt, the firmness and sealing of pipe joints, clean the pump machine surface, and brush with thin machine oil to prevent dirt adhesion.

Adjust and replace them in time

The clutch, return unloading valve, reducer, and air compressor and other main components should be checked regularly according to their usage requirements. If there are wear and tear or damage.

Clean

Before refueling the slurry mixer and slurry combined machine, wipe clean the dirt around the oil filling and oil hole.
