ZY-N-SD3055 Onshore Inner Wind Turbine Coating Machine

Main function

The machine was designed to finish painting works for internal surface of wind power tubular tower or pipes covering a diameter range from 3.0 meters to 5.5 meters (typical diameters for onshore wind turbine tower) according to the coating specification automatically. The machine walked from one end to the other in the tubular tower and all the painting work was finished.

Intelligent and reliable

Explosion-proof servo motors were chosen for this machine, which makes it Intelligent, reliable and High precision. You just input the target DFT (dry film thickness), the solid content of the paint material and the size of the tubular tower. The Central control system will analyze and process the data and execute programmed actions subsequently. The machine could be remote-controlling or wired-controlling. All walking tracks are recorded in the operating system. Once stopped, the setup procedure will continue after restart.

Easy to use

One equipment operator and one auxiliary worker are required to manipulate this machine. The equipment operators only need to set the working parameters and monitor the working status. The auxiliary worker's main work is mixing paint and serving the paint pump. A friendly man-machine interface makes it easy to learn and operate.

High efficiency

The machine was equipped with double high pressure airless guns which improved the working efficiency greatly. The rotary spraying gun and the paint pump will run without stopping once started. Usually, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete one layer of coating for internal surface. Otherwise, it will take more than one hour by manual spraying.

Quality assurance

The dry film thickness (DFT) and surface appearance of the coating film were controllable through adjusting the inputting parameters such as: walking speed, rotary speed, spraying nozzle sizes, thinning ratio and fluid pressure etc. The memory function of the machine will remember the data you have imputed in. Once the parameters were fixed for one project, it will make the subsequent painting works more easily. The final coating films was uniform and perfect without common defects: sagging, excessive high or low DFT, dry spray, pin holes, orange skin, slags and etc. It met the strict inspection requirements of SSPC SPA2 (90/10 principles) for DFT measurement.

Cost saving

The paint loss factor was 1.2 by the automatic spraying machines versus 1.7 by manual application according to our paint application test data, which decreased the cost deeply while enhanced the final coating quality. This Inner wind turbine coating machine exhibit good economic performance.
